Algebra

In this course, we will explore the language of algebra. We will start by paying particular attention to using variables as placeholders. Then we will move to describing how to use variables in basic calculations to create algebraic expressions. After that we will practise simplifying more complex algebraic expressions using the idea of like/unlike terms. Finally we learn how to bring two algebraic expressions together to form an equation to describe a relationship. We will also learn how to solve for the unknown quantity in these equations.
