Analytical Geometry [Foundation]

In this course, we will cover the topic of analytical geometry (coordinate geometry). The course will comprise three main sections.

The first section will focus on the main tools we use in this topic: the distance formula, the midpoint formula and the gradient formula. The second section will focus on finding and using the formula for straight lines y = mx + c, together with questions on parallel and perpendicular lines. It will also focus on finding and using the angle of inclination of a line. The third section will focus on identifying and using triangles and quadrilaterals on the XY plane.

This Foundation level course will focus on the core ideas that are important for this topic, while the Standard course will cover the same core ideas but will also include some harder questions that require more application of the core ideas.

Hope to see many of you soon in the class!
