Counting and Probability
In this course, we will recap the Grade 11 content that is also tested in Grade 12. After revising definitions, we will focus on tree diagrams and Venn diagrams. We will also revise proving events are independent.
We then focus on the fundamental counting principle. We will look at the number of ways in which something can happen, using both exponential notation and factorial notation. We will also learn how to calculate probabilities.
We end the course by examining the types of questions we would expect to see in the trial exams as well as the final NSC examinations.
This course takes the basics one step further to provide some extended examples and questions for those learners who enjoy a challenge. See you there!
