Exponents

This course focuses on exponents. We will first discuss the mathematical language used for powers or exponents. It is very important that learners understand and use these words correctly when working in mathematics. We will also look specifically at square and square roots, and cubes and cube roots, since these form an integral part of the Grade 7 Exponents syllabus. Thereafter, we will discuss and represent different bases with different exponents and perform calculations using all four operations, exponents up to 5 as well as squares and cubes.
