Number Patterns

In this course, we explore the topic of number patterns, with particular focus on quadratic number patterns. We start by recapping the basic procedures and concepts related to the topic. This will address questions such as: How do we describe number patterns? and What are some of the different types of patterns we encounter in Grade 11 Mathematics?

We then move on to specific subtopics where we work with linear number patterns, quadratic number patterns and basic geometric patterns. We will practise the most efficient way to determine the formula describing a quadratic pattern, and how to use this formula once we know how to find it.
